About Me

I am a well-rounded leadership development professional specializing in organizational effectiveness with 5+ years of supervisory experience and a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

My key competencies include:

Associate Consultant at O.E. Strategies

Duties include:

  • Create and co-facilitate workshops for topics such as personal branding, inclusive leadership, powerful communication, strategic planning and team development to promote continuous improvement in a virtual setting

  • Perform job analyses, including the creation of interview questions, co-facilitation of focus groups, custom development and delivery of industry-specific case study and role play assessment materials to assist clients with bench strength analysis and strategic planning around succession plans

  • Develop competencies for senior executives (AVP and higher) to assist clients with succession planning and placement decisions

  • Perform high volume data analysis on cognitive assessment performance, including reliability and validity of the measures, to determine “good” and “bad” items

  • Revise and create new cognitive competencies to compare quality of items to prior items

  • Review and audit payor contracts and real estate contracts to evaluate potentially problematic contract language and provide recommendations to CEO

  • Obtain Notary license and perform notarizations to ensure timely execution of sensitive legal documentation

  • Take meeting minutes and facilitate bi-weekly finance and operations luncheons to encourage productive discussion and maintain forward momentum of initiatives

  • Manage and maintain schedules for the C-Suite and Presidential roles to ensure meetings are kept and all required parties are in attendance

  • Short-list resumes and conduct phone interviews for Director and Executive level roles to increase likelihood of culture and job fit of applicants

  • Arrange national and international travel and lodging for clients and executives to reduce costs and streamline travel accommodation needs for a more efficient process

  • Manage a team of up to 21 licensed sales and service insurance agents through regular 1:1 coaching sessions, team meetings, and side-by-side training to reduce inconsistencies in process or information provided to customers

Job Analysis

This course covers important theories and practices in job analysis and performance management. I learned how job analysis information can improve the reliability, validity and practicality of vital human resource management functions. I also conducted a complete job analysis on a real-world role.

Research Methods

This course provides an overview of fundamental empirical research methods in psychological science. Topics include experimental and non-experimental research designs, sampling methods, internal validity, external validity, construct validity, test and survey construction, ethics in research.

Personnel Psychology

This course reviews systems and procedures of employee selection. A secondary emphasis is placed on the application of learning principles to employee training.

Social Psychology

This course covers a complete review of the field of social psychology with emphasis on social motivation, social cognition, impression formation, social influence, attitude change, and group processes. Additional consideration of social processes in applied settings is also emphasized.

Organizational Theory and Design

This course covers the nature and importance of organizational structure and design, functions and dysfunctions of traditional designs, how and why organizational designs change, and the effects of the environment, technology, information and control systems, power structures, and political behavior on organizational performance. An analysis of a real-world company was also completed.

Managing Human Resources

This course provides an in-depth review of basic processes in managing employees. Topics include the changing role of HR professionals, recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, legal issues, plus the historical framework for organized labor, union behavior, and collective bargaining.
