Job Analysis

SHERWIN-WILLIAMS OPERATIONS MANAGER - GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

During the second semester of the master’s program, we were tasked with providing a job analysis for Sherwin-Williams, led from start to finish by our work groups. We started with a pre-meeting to brief us on the company culture and desired deliverables from the project. As a group, we then created structured interview questions and conducted phone interviews with subject matter experts throughout the organization in the Operations Manager role. Once interviews were completed, we held virtual focus groups to narrow down the list of KSAOs relevant to the role and used the results to create a survey for incumbents. Once the survey was delivered and completed, results were compiled into a detailed report with an executive summary and were delivered virtually to senior leaders at Sherwin-Williams.
